74 Dogs Rescued from Licensed Breeder in Stone County, MO February 18, 2011 Seventy-four collies and bichon frises were rescued from a licensed breeder in Stone County, MO. The dogs were living in unsanitary conditions withour access to fresh water.
Puppy Rescued from Icy Pond Adopted by Family of St. Louis City Firefighter January 13, 2011 Today at Humane Society of Missouri Headquarters, the Chrun family of St. Louis City adopted Flori, the 9 month old Labrador mix puppy rescued December 16, 2010 from O’Fallon Park Lake. Firefighter Mark Chrun has been a dedicated member of the St. Louis City Fire Department for more than 26 years.
